With the existing Rs.10 lakhs subsidy for quality Kannada films, Thomas D Souza headed Apex Body of KFCC has pressed for Rs.15 lakhs subsidy. That means an increase of Rs.5 lakhs more bonus for Kannada films produced in the state.

At the first media address today at KFCC office the urge was made for sanctioning of land at Hobli, Taluk level for construction of ‘Janata Chitra Mandira’, this should benefit the producers hopes KFCC. The speeding up of Anti Goonda Act, curbing Multiplex from excess ticket price, Multiplex to provide facility to screen Kannada films, ban on illegal video parlour, meeting the government of Karnataka for 2015-2016 state budget, construction of Amrutha Bhavana at international standards are the agenda of Thomas and his team.

KFCC members A Ganesh, G Venkatesh, H Anantha Murthy, Ba Ma harish, BR Keshava, R Sunder Raj, KV Venkatesh and others were present at the media address.
